perdieron la condici\u00f3n de las clases medias y pasaron a formar parte de los nuevos pobres. Seg\u00fan el informe de AMIA del 2001, se estimaba que la cuarta parte de los miembros de la comunidad jud\u00eda del pa\u00eds era pobre o estaba bordeando la l\u00ednea de la pobreza, la cifra ascend\u00eda d\u00eda a d\u00eda. El juda\u00edsmo reaccion\u00f3 con todo vigor desde sus arraigados valores jud\u00edos y sionistas en aquella hora tan dif\u00edcil. Las instituciones y los azkanim de C\u00f3rdoba redoblaron sus esfuerzos. La solidaridad con los jud\u00edos desfavorecidos pas\u00f3 al primer lugar de la agenda comunitaria.
